Establishment

1984, the first of the current group of companies was founded by Mr. Mehmet Aydın with the title of Aydınlar Plastik A.S. and began operations in the plastics industry with injection moulding, serigraph printing, hot stamping and pad printing. The company maintains its activites and organic growth, meeting the requirements of the white goods industry.

New Machine Investments

It has doubled its production capacity by making new investments in the injection moulding machines and screen printing track.

1990

Gema Polimer Brand

Gema Polimer Plastik Ürünleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş was established and started its active working life. Gema Polimer; carried out the import and export of industrial plastics such as PE, PP, ABS, PS, PA and PC, as well as recycling of industrial plastic wastes obtained from raw materials such as ABS, PS, PP in its facility in Istanbul.

1996

Factory Investment in Izmir City

Gema Polimer established its second production facility in İzmir Aegean Free Zone. Thus, Gema Polimer started its production activities in the Masterbatch & Compound sector with the latest technology extruder compound lines and equipments.

2002

New Compounding Line Investments

In line with the increasing demands, new compound line investment as well as new equipment investments for our Quality Control and R&D Laboratories. By this way, the annual production capacity has reached to 20,000 tons.

2006

Moving to new Factory Building in Free Zone

In the beginning of 2012, Gema has moved to its new production plant to improve its premium service quality and production capacity. Gema Polimer maintains a highly efficient operation thanks to its specialized technical department and cutting edge machinery manufacturing products in line with international quality standards allowing an average annual capacity of 40,000 tons.

New compound solutions for the Hygiene Industry

Gema has lounched its new product series for Hygiene Industry for the production of Breathable Films and Non-Wovens.

New Factory investment in Silivri, Istanbul

Gema established its new production plant in Silivri, Istanbul.

2 new compounding line and 2 complete recycling line.

The production capacity for the new plant is approximately 20.000 tons.
